Mysore style Ashtanga Yoga in Oslo with onyoga

I lead the Mysore programme in Oslo with Onyoga who i am a partner with.

Mysore Style is the traditional way of learning Ashtanga yoga. A fixed sequence of yoga positions (asana) is at the heart of the practice. In Mysore classes, each person practices the Ashtanga sequence individually, adapted to their level and pace. The instructor holds the space and gives each student one-on-one guidance in the form of physical adjustments in the postures, to correct alignment, increase awareness or experience the posture in a new way. When the instructor sees that the student is ready for it, new postures are added.

The room is mostly silent, except for the sound of Ujjayi breathing, but verbal instruction and guidance is given when needed. These classes are truly for all levels where beginners and experienced students practice side by side, receiving support and guidance tailored to their level.
